EX-"JERSEY BOYS" COUNTERSUE VALLI OVER RIVAL TOUR With more than $1 billion in ticket sales, the Broadway musical "Jersey Boys" has spawned many recent attempts to transform pop music to the stage. But here's a good legal question: Can former cast members publicly perform covers of the original pop music that inspired the show? Or is that tantamount to creating a competing, unauthorized musical? We'll soon have an answers. In April, Frankie Valli sued former original cast members of "Jersey Boys" for stealing songs, stage elements and copyrighted logos in the creation of their own musical tour. Valli asked a court to issue an injunction preventing further touring by the ex-cast members. Now comes the countersuit, which alleges that Valli's claims are "motivated by petty vindictiveness and malice" and that he is "using bully tactics better suited for the schoolyard." On grounds of tortuous interference, they are claiming at least $1 million in damages.

Add a book that takes turns tickling your funny bone and breaking your heart, courtesy of the legendary Neil Simon...Top it all off with a sparkling blend of direction and choreography by Rob Ashford - and you've got an intoxicating evening of Broadway magic.

ROMANCE REPORT:GLEE COSTARS...JUST FRIENDS!
Series star Jenna Ushkowitz sets something straight: She is not dating costar Kevin McHale. "They were bound to happen, right?" Ushkowitz said about the romance rumors the other night at the Amanda Foundation's Patterns for Paws fundraiser. "We're all best friends. It would be little incestuous [and] a little weird. But we're all so close that we figure anything will come out." BRITNEY EPISODE FOR GLEE "I'm very excited," Ushkowitz said. "She was my idol." In other words, she'd be happy no matter what Britney hit she gets to sing. "Anything of her old school would be fantastic, like 'Hit Me Baby One More Time,' or 'Oops, I Did it Again,'" she said. While Spears won't be appearing on the show, Ushkowitz says they haven't been told anything definite regarding reports about Javier Bardem or Katie Holmes.
TEENAGE SINGER CHARICE GETS BOTOX FOR 'GLEE' DEBUT Baby-faced teen singer Charice says she prepared for her debut on the hit Fox TV show "Glee" by getting Botox and an anti-aging procedure "to look fresh on camera," but her publicist said the Botox was for muscle pain, not for cosmetic reasons. The 18-year-old Filipino singer with a booming voice, who recently released her self-titled debut album, saw her career skyrocket after appearing on Ellen DeGeneres' and Oprah Winfrey's talk shows. She underwent a 30-minute Thermage skin-tightening procedure and Botox injections to make her "naturally round face" more narrow, celebrity cosmetic surgeon Vicki Belo told ABS-CBN television. However, Charice's publicist, Liz Rosenberg, said in an e-mail the Botox was "absolutely not cosmetic," and added that the treatment was for muscle pain in her jaw.
