Quite by surprise, Grover signed into Facebook this week to find an image of a postage stamp that’s currently in circulation in France! And then he saw himself dancing on it!
The stamp is based on a poster from the 1967 movie, The Young Girls of Rochefort, with Gene Kelly, Catherine Deneuve, George Chakiris and our own Grover Dale!
And for an even bigger treat, you can watch Grover as he dances across the screen in The Young Girls of Rochefort, now available on Netflix. Don't miss it!

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE NEW YORK CITY AUDITIONS RECAP So You Think You Can Dance Season 12 auditions came to a close after the New York City auditions. After five cities, 114 stage dancers and 105 street dancers are heading to Vegas for the final round of cuts. The New York City fun began with Virgil Gatson, who seemed familiar since he nearly made it to the Top 20 several years ago. It was no surprise when he got a ticket to Vegas. Many of the competitors credited dance as the force that allowed them overcome a variety of bad situations including drug addiction and unfortunate family circumstances. Korey Cleveland admitted he’d only been sober for a month and he promised himself that he would audition if he could stay clean for 30 days. His audition was on Day 31 and yes, he also got a ticket! Street dancer Elazier shared how dance allowed him to earn enough money to help his family ditch the shelter for a better life. He knows success on the show can help him to do even more if he can make it to the live shows. But the reality is that Las Vegas will see the elimination of 199 dancers on the journey to the Top 20 and the next phase will be rough going for most of the ticket holders. Eliminations begin next week as Team Street and Team Stage face the choreography phase!
BOMBSHELL STAGE ADAPTATION IS OFFICIALLY IN THE WORKS! After a huge amount of speculation, Bombshell, the fictional Marilyn Monroe musical from the NBC drama Smash, is officially being developed for the stage! The news comes in the wake of the much-buzzed about one-night-only concert earlier this month. Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, who penned the songs for Bombshell on screen, remain on board for the project, with Shaiman serving as composer and co-lyricist and Wittman as co-lyricist. On the Town’s Joshua Bergasse, who won an Emmy for his work on Smash and co-directed the recent concert, will serve as choreographer for the production. Bombshell on the stage will be brought to you by a stellar team, including Smash executive producers Craig Zadan, Neil Meron and Steven Spielberg, along with Universal Stage Productions. No timeline or dates have been announced. A Marilyn Monroe musical has been seen on Broadway once before; in 1983 the short-lived Marilyn: An American Fable played 34 previews and 17 performances.
