VALUABLE PLAYERS OF THE YEAR! When dancers make themselves valuable to each other, it deserves to be recognized. In 2010, we saw plenty of it happening on iDANCE2. We decided 'generosity' was worth celebrating. Because so many dancers were involved...the task of pointing out a few challenged us to the core. The dancers you read about here are only a few of the many who went the extra distance to support the needs of fellow dancers..
JOEL RONNIE The third version of Joel's demo reel delivered everything he was hoping for. In September, he was one of six members who earned agent referrals for the activity they brought to iDANCE2.
KRYSTAL MATSUYAMA Technical know-how? Supportive feedback? Visual savvy? Like Emily Dann, Krystal showed up on iDANCE2 with all three. She quickly established herself as a valuable player, signed with MSA, and earned a prominent position as one of our 'Dancers 2 Watch.'
LUKE STOCKTON Luke is industrious. Within 10 days of posting a first demo reel, he went to work in the collaborative environment of iDANCE2 nailing the perfect showcase with version #7. Thanks to the insights and feedback he continues to exchange with others, he's a potential candidate for 'Dancers 2 Watch' as well as the agent referral program.

SPIDER-MAN DELAYED AGAIN Broadway's "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" has already become the most expensive show ever mounted on Broadway. Soon it may reach another milestone - The show stuck in previews the longest. Producers delayed the $65 million show for the 5th time last week, pushing the opening date to March 15 to fine-tune and put in a new ending. Lead producer Michael Cohl promised this is "the final postponement." The change means the show, when it opens, will break what is considered the record for most preview performances, 71, held by Arthur Laurents' "Nick and Nora" in 1991.
NEXT BIG STAR CONFIRMED FOR GLEE Looks like all of Chris Colfer's dreams are coming true. Last month, Colfer said his dream guests for the show include Julie Andrews and Hathaway. No word yet as to what Anne will be playing, but she has said she'd love to play Kurt's lesbian aunt.
KE$HA TO "ASSAULT ALL YOUR SENSES" Ke$ha says her upcoming Get $leazy theater tour will be "a ridiculously fun dance party" that will build on the energetic sets she played while opening for Rihanna last summer. "Visually it will just be assaulting, and sonically it will be assaulting. It's just going to be an assault of all your senses, but it's going to be really, really, really fun," said the chart-topping singer. Get $leazy gets underway Feb 15 in Portland, and is currently booked for 2 North American legs, separated by a swing through Australia and Japan in March. It wraps May 6 in Los Angeles.
