Photographers

It takes a lot of imagination to be a good photographer. You need less imagination to be a painter because you can invent things. But in photography everything is so ordinary; it takes a lot of looking before you learn to see the extraordinary.
David Bailey

A4D has worked with the following four photographers. Their photography ( seen throughout this site) is exceptional. We heartily recommend them for all of your photographic needs. While fees vary from photographer to photographer, typical rates look something like this:

  • Headshot/danceshot (commercial, theatrical, dance)--$375/3 rolls, film or digital, studio or location
  • Zed Card (comm./theatrical headshot, fashion, editorial, sport/body, edge)--$500 5 rolls
  • 1/2 day $750 + materials
  • Full day $1500 + materials
  • Group discounts available
  • makeup/hair available @$125 headshot/$175 zed card
  • For exact rates, call photographers and visit their websites.

It’s your calling card, and often your entry into auditions and callbacks. It represents you after you walk out the door. Your agent can’t do much without them. It’s your headshot. And since ordinary photos won’t do, here are our photographer choices for your best bet...
