Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at the Music Center concludes a season of great beauty with the Bolshoi Ballet performing Swan Lake - a work that epitomizes the grandeur of classical ballet. Originally choreographed for the Bolshoi by Marius Petipa in 1877, today's revised Swan Lake by Yuri Grigorovich remains a sumptuous masterpiece. The tragic legend will be performed with live orchestra and marks the Bolshoi's long awaited return since 2000.

'NEWSIES' LEADS ASTAIRE NOMS
Newsies1Nominations for the 30th Fred & Adele Astaire Awards taking place on June 4 have been announced, with NEWSIES leading the pack with 7 noms. The Astaire Awards are the only awards show to honor excellence in dance and choreography on Bway and in film. The noms for Outstanding Choreographer for a Bway Musical are: Rob Ashford (Evita), Sergio Trujillo (Leap of Faith), Christopher Gattelli (Newsies), Kathleen Marshall (Nice Work If You Can Get It), Steve Hoggett (Once), Ron Brown (Porgy & Bess). NEWSIES took 1 for Outstanding Female Dancer, 5 for Outstanding Male Dancer, and 1 for Outstanding Choreographer.

MICHAEL JACKSON TO DANCE ON PEPSI CANS
The soft drink maker, Pepsi, and the estate for Michael Jackson unveiled plans to put the singer's silhouette on one billion Pepsi cans in a global pop culture ad campaign. Jackson, who pitched Pepsi in 1980s commercials as "the choice of a new generation", will appear in some of his iconic dance poses, which will also coincide with the 25th anniversary of his "Bad" album. The ltd edition cans went on sale in China last weekend, and will be sold in the U.S. later this month, then rolled out in Asia, South America and Europe later in 2012. Fans will also be able to enter contests for tickets to Cirque du Soleil's show "Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour."


TWO MORE GONE FROM 'DANCING'
MelissaGilbertAfter weeks of strenuous legwork, endless hours of rehearsal and giving it their all to win viewer votes, Melissa Gilbert and Roshon Fegan said their goodbyes to DANCING WITH THE STARS. Melissa said she knew the second she was onstage with Katherine Jenkins that her number was up. With tears welling up in her eyes, she said that partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy told her that he wished she believed in herself as much as he believed in her, revealing that Melissa's courage, strength and determination was what got them this far. Roshon's partner, Chelsie Hightower, let it be known that it would be completely feasible for Roshon to go pro if he did a year of intense training.

GAGA FACING FURTHER PROTESTS
GagaIndonesiaReligious activists in Indonesia have condemned Lady Gaga's plans to perform a gig in Jakarta on June 3, risking the wrath of religious groups in the notoriously conservative country. A spokesman for the Islamic Defenders' Front (FPI) tells the Wall Street Journal, "Lady Gaga insults all religions. Even Christians in Korea opposed her. She is promoting the worship of Satan. If you want chaos in Jakarta, just continue to hold the concert."

LOHAN TO GUEST ON 'GLEE'

As the countdown to graduation continues, the kids of New Directions prepare a high-concept routine for Nationals. Then, New Directions face off against Wade (Alex Newell) and Vocal Adrenaline at Nationals in Chicago, where they perform in front of celebrity judge Lindsay Lohan.

BEYONCE WINS JOURNALISM AWARD
BeyonceJournalismPop superstar and new mama Beyoncé, is going to need to clear room on her shelf among those 16 Grammys, as she is the newly named recipient of a prestigious magazine prize handed out by the New York Association of Black Journalists. Beyonce will be taking home 1st-place honors in the NABJ's arts and entertainment magazine category. Last summer, in the run-up to the release of 4, a promo round included a first-person article she penned for Essence. The story, titled "Eat, Play, Love," featured the singer discussing how taking a break from her music career reinvigorated and reprioritized her life.

Since she was "around 20 years old," however, she's been embracing her time alone. BRITNEY SIGNS WITH 'X FACTOR'
Britney Spears is official. After months ofBritXFactor1 negotiations, the pop star has signed her contract to join Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid as a judge on The X FACTOR. Spears will get $15 million for one season's worth of work. "The contract is signed," reveals a source. "There's been a lot of back and forth over the past few weeks as they negotiated the small details, but she's on. It's all completed and Britney is beyond excited."

FOSTER STARS IN 'BUNHEADS'
SuttonFosterBway's Tony Award-winning actress Sutton Foster stars as a former ballerina turned Vegas showgirl who decides to take a gamble on a new marriage and a fresh start in Paradise, CA in the series premiere of ABC Family's original drama, BUNHEADS, airing June 11. Once in Paradise, Sutton's character (Michelle Simms) finds herself in the local dance studio that her new mother-in-law runs. Michelle's budding relationships with the diverse group of girls she meets at the studio helps her adapt to small town living and her uneasy role as a new daughter-in-law.

'SMASH'S 'MAKE A MUSICAL'
PROGRAM AWARDS WINNERS

10 schools across the nation have beenSmashMakeMusical selected for the 2nd phase of "NBC's 'Smash': Make a Musical." The philanthropic initiative, sponsored by the hit musical drama series SMASH, works with under-served schools to stage their own productions and implement self-sustaining theater programs. Phase one launched with 20 schools performing their first-ever musicals, 640 hours of teacher training, over 1,000 children rehearsing their very first musical, over 13,000 children with access to quality arts programs in their schools, and over 52,000 people attending performances.

MADONNA'S SCENT FACES LEGAL ACTION
Madonna is facing legal action from anMadonnaPerfume Australian artist who alleges the packaging for her debut perfume ripped off his trademarked logo. RJ Williams is upset that the 'M' symbol on her scent bottle and cardboard sleeve for Truth or Dare resembles his own artwork. Williams claims he trademarked the logo, which he is said to have used on clothing for 8 years, and he is taking legal action for breach of copyright. "It's about my integrity as an artist. I do not think it should be able to be used by a giant cosmetics company."

Justin Timberlake has come a long way,TimberFashion fashion-wise. In an interview with 'Details,' the 'N Sync star admitted there are some memories he'd love to say bye bye bye to forever. "There were many moments in my teenage years where I succumbed to...the weirdness of the group I was in, and in trying to conform...I ended up looking like a moron." Referring to his days in 'N Sync when he donned cornrows and baggy pants and bleached curls, Timberlake said nowadays his preferred hairstyle is a shaved head.
