Free Audition #1 INVERTIGO DANCE THEATRE
LA AUDITIONS  Looking for dancers who are technically strong, versatile and dynamic to join the Invertigo family for future performances. Choreo: Laura Karlin. Dancers must have training in contemporary, modern, ballet and/or jazz, and should have experience with improvisation, partnering and ensemble work. We work collaboratively, and it's important that a dancer is able to be both a powerful individual and a supportive team member. Looking for people who have both a strongly developed, deeply rooted individual voice as well as a sense of empathy and ability to work with others. All company members are encouraged to bring their own styles and experiences to the process, but they also need to be able to take direction, learn movement and trust in the process. Registration and space to warm-up open at 9am. Bring kneepads, if you like, for floorwork. Please bring a resume and photo. Callbacks will be held on Sun, June 2 from 10am-1pm. Free Audition #2 CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES
ORLANDO AUDITIONS  Casting singers & dancers to perform on board Carnival Cruise Line's fleet of 22 "funships." Carnival produces more than 35 different award-winning shows fleet-wide. Ships sail the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, the Bahamas, Canada, New England, Alaska, Hawaii, the Mexican Riviera, and now Australia. Contract dates and itineraries vary. Seeking Strong Singers: Male & Female, 18-64, All Ethnicities. Seeking Strong Dancers: Male & Female, 18-64, All Ethnicities. SINGERS: Prepare 16 bars contrasting styles with sheet music or CD; no a cappella. All singers should be able to demonstrate a strong R&B/rock & roll style in at least one selection. Females should be comfortable belting to a D. Be prepared to dance if requested. DANCERS: dress in close-fitting attire. Technical exercises and contrasting combinations will be taught to you at the audition. All bring pix & resumes, stapled together. Professional pay provided.
